This CD is in the pocket. Michael Bolivar and his brother John Bolivar play together superbly. They bring back that great sound of alto and tenor sax that works so well in jazz. The selections chosen for this cd are the great jazz standards and a surprising song written by "Prince" that these great musicians arranged with a new and exciting feel. The CD opens up with the vocals of Alfreda James and adds a special warm touch that keeps you listening and wanting more - then all of a sudden Michael Bolivar is singing and scatting brillantly on a up tempo version of "On A Clear Day". The musicians that help to hold the musical glue together on this CD are all great and are not overpowering in their playing which makes it easy to listen to. This is a great all around CD that fills all the gaps for easy and exciting listening.
